Challenge:

For the 2020 edition of the Ströck calender project we decided to refresh the concept with an new idea. First we put together delicious recipies, each made with one common ingredient: a Ströck bread. To open up more space for the tasty dishes, we changed the layout to a double-page landscape format showing off the products on a bigger stage.

Again we looked for wooden skewers, pastry cutters, pots and pans, cultery and napkins – mixing and matching colours to compliment the food. We were rifling through piles of collectibles and antiques on flea markets and got raw ingredients to chop and fresh herbs to brighten up the shots. Arriving with big bags and boxes from our shopping spree, we had two days of shooting ahead of us, before layouting the final shots.

This project’s success was achieved again by great team effort from photographer and food stylist Lukas Lorenz as well as Ströck Feierabend chef Christopher Schramek, who imagined the delicious recipes.
