How to capture the spirit of

Soap & Skin

on four walls?

In close collaboration with the SAE Institue Vienna we began the design process by mapping out the moods Soap & Skin’s music invoke and setting them in relation to the guiding keywords “music”, “visuals” and “vibe”.

Pattern & Artworks

Listening closely to her piano playing we mimicked the fragile irregularity of the melodies in tenuous lines streching across the entire room.

The selected artworks support the obscure mood and hold some surprises for the attentive observer.

  • Studio with focus on sound design and electronic music production.
  • Several analogue and digital synthesizers can be used.
  • Extensive controls for use with the audio software.
  • 2.1 Monitoring especially adapted for use in electronic music production.
  • Foleys can be recorded directly inside the control room.
